Bitter Sweet

Macarons are still a rarity to find in Delhi. I have tried these little sweets at Intercontinental’s bakery a couple of times. They were good but I always felt that they were not the best around. On a small trip to Khan Market today, we found a little bakery called L’Opera and voila! They had these gorgeous little macarons totally calling my name from their window’s display. 😛 I bought 6 of them and they came in this pretty little box HERE. I bought lemon, passionfruit and raspberry flavours ONLY because these were the prettiest colors around. 😀 If you ask me, raspberry is my personal favourite now. The bakery is nice but the prices are exorbitant. It’s only macarons that I’d probably want to revisit the place for. For everything else, there is Maxim’s. 😉

Btw I was very upset on hearing about the demise of Rajesh Khanna yesterday. I may not have been the biggest fan of his but during the growing up years I watched his movies and listened to his songs. It’s something my parents passed on to me and the songs stayed on with me subconsciously. I think I need a good cry one of these days to get over the heaviness in my heart. He would be missed dearly. RIP!
