Day 2, Udaipur

Hiya Everyone, 🙂

Last night we went to dinner to Jag Mandir . You see when you stay on the lake, you only travel by the boat. It was just divine.

Today my friend and I spent time in the spa while the boys went sight seeing to the City Palace and the Udaipur museum. I got my regular tulsi facial done at the Jiva Spa. After a horrible experience with Burt’s Bees cream my skin was crying out loud for some pampering. I fell asleep again during the session because they are sooo good at it. 🙂 You see it helped. I am wearing zero makeup on my face. It’s only lipstick and liner. 😀

Sharing some pics from day two of our stay here.

Enjoyyy!! :))

You guys really captured the city’s beauty so well 🙂 Living here for don’t know how many years but still can’t get enough of it!
Did you happen to check out the royal gangaur boat amidst the Pichhola lake being decked up for gangaur/teej day? One of the most beautiful sights it is!

    • Rati says:

ushma, I guess now that you have mentioned it, I’d look out for it. I do see some boats around but don’t know which one is which. :)) Thanks . You are lucky to have been staying there. 🙂

Oh my god.. there are too many things that I love about this post.. You look great and that too without a trace of makeup..whoa.. even I want to indulge in the tulsi facial.. do they have a jiva spa in delhi/gurgaon??? 😛 I loved all the pics.. especially the vintage car.. 😀 the chariot..the detailing on the fort walls..and also the images that are painted on the walls..’ve tempted me enough to go to udaipur..i was in jaipur some time back but i totally missed on udaipur.. i really have to go there.. the boat ride sounds like a joy ride 😛

    • Rati says:

They do have jiva spa in delhi.. you may call up taj delhi and check up with them. My friend took massage and was ga-ga over it. She said she had one of the best experiences of a spa ever here at Jiva.:)

Actually every city in rajastahn is different and has something unique about it. You maust visit uddaipur for sure. :))

  8. jomol says:

Beautifully shot sanjeevji……the palace looks so magnificient 🙂

    • Sanjeev says:

Thankies Jomol ji 🙂 This is an awesome place. But what strikes you the most is the hospitality. You cannot know what I am talking about till you experience Taj hospitality. Yesterday evening, we went to Udaivilas, which is a grand hotel by Oberoi on the bank of the lake, to have our dinner. The place is well-made and all, but right from entering its gates, walking towards the Chandni restaurant, and then sitting there at the table, all four of us felt so claustrophobic and stuffy that we didn’t take our dinner, made some excuse and left the table. Came back to Lake Palace and had our dinner here. Had a blast till late at night. Taj is Taj.

    • Rati says:

      it was jomo :-*
