Desert Safari, Dubai

Gone with the wind!

Hiya Everyone 🙂

First, Wish you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day. May lots of love and happiness come your way. :))

We went to evening desert safari yesterday. I had no clue what I was looking forward to. The only thing that driver asked us was not to eat anything before the safari or eat very light. Desert safari is basically a drive through the desert…and not a clean easy ride. It’s an adventure rise over the mad sand dunes among the desert. The experience was once in a life time, and everyone who is coming to Dubai MUST experience this. I have to say that you start feeling sick after a point of time seeing the endless desert. Still, you must experience this ‘experience’. It’s not the one to be missed. 🙂

We went to the camps after a 30-35 minutes safari and it was quite a relief. They had arranged for food and local entertainments such as tanoura dance and belly dancing. It was pretty awesome. The drive back home was just amazing. Dubai is as stunning in evening as it is during the day. 🙂

Even though Sanjeev is not too well, he was sportive enough to go for the safari. And these are some gorgeous shots he took from yesterday evening. 🙂

Have  a great day everyone 🙂

I’ve never felt the slightest desire to see Dubai, except to shop, considering it the less colorful alternative to Turkey or North Africa, but Sanjeev’s pics have changed my mind!
