Hi Everyone, 🙂
Sanjeev and I are constantly on the move. And hence, with the constant change in temperature, I have also fallen ill. Falling sick has become a good luck kind of a thing during my trips. 😛 Finally I am feeling better now after almost 3 days of dilly-dallying. 😀
The good part. Sanjeev and I got to spend the last two days in Naples. It’s a beautiful little sea-side town. We stayed at a hotel called La Chileigina, which is located in the heart of the town. So walking around everywhere was really easy. We went to see the museum and spent a lazy evening eating and chit-chatting at a cafe.
Day 2 was super exciting. We headed to explore the beautiful little towns and coastline of the southern Italy – Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano. We made our first stop at the Amalfi caves. And then just kept soaking in the beauty of the gorgeous blue water, colourful houses, pretty flowers and little boats. It was soooo lovely. I have no words. 🙂
We made our way to Pompeii. It is an ancient city. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
We spent a lazy evening at the Naples coastline. Just letting the time go by… 🙂
