Hi Everyone, πŸ™‚

Hope you had a great weekend. πŸ™‚ I had a pretty awesome end of the week. Sanjeev and I had some evening drinks with friends on Thursday. That pretty much set the tone of the weekend. πŸ™‚ And yesterday Sakshi and I went to Guppy by Ai. I had been wanting to go there since a long time but Mr Husband wasn’t Β too keen.:P So I went with my favourite Restaurant Hopper, Sakshi. πŸ˜€ It was her first time too there. The food was yum and the place was so cute and colorful. I mean they have polka dotted bathroom *swooon* πŸ˜›

How was your weekend? What did you do? πŸ™‚

Sharing some pics from the day. πŸ™‚

And wish you all a very Happy Baisakhi :))

Hey Rati darling! How r u?? I have been soo busy for the past like 40 days that I guess I forgot to sleep and eat… Phew work!! Read all ur trip posts today!! Looks like u had an awesome trip!! U we’re looking soo chic and travel appropriate!! I badly need a break! Hopefully should go for a short vacation.. U know coz of these erratic schedule I gained 2 kgs!! Should come bk to track.

That shirt u are wearing in this post, is it oversize or have u lost soo much weight that it is looking like a oversized tee?? But Rati cudos to u for being so persistent and consistent all this while and losing all the weight.. Am guessing u must have lost at least 10 kgs or even more.. Today morning I was searching for some review on IMBB and I dunno what I navigated but I have seen some pics of u in some meet in Pune probably from 2010 I guess!! What tremendous change in u Rati!! U looked cute then but now u look fab and fit!! I am sure u prefer the way u are now!
One ques though, I see ur posts and looks like u eat out often but still how do u manage to stay fit!! Ok now this is becoming a very long comment and hopefully u take this as a compliment!
Take care darling! Have a fab week ahead

Hi Dasika, thank you and of course it is a compliment. I do prefer how I look now. Although I never shyed away from dressing up even when I was 13 kgs heavier (that’s how much I have lost). But i have lost in a matter of 2 years. I started working out somewhere around nov 2011 so it’s been a long journey. I never wanted to do a quick weight loss because my skin was a major concern for me. I mean what is the point of being slim if you skin looks all saggy and dull. So I work out regularly atleast 3-4 times a week and same goes for eating. i try to eat maximum at home during a week and keep a day or two for eating out. I do love eating out but I do maintain that I don’t over indulge. i mean I’d keep myself away from ordering too much fried stuff or unhealthy stuff. You know everyone can strike that balance of ordering out. It’s about discipline and a lifestyle change. It’s never been that I’d do crash dieting for 6 days and then over indulge on the last day. the rules are the same that I have been following that I have mentioned here http://makeupandbeauty.com/golden-rules-to-weight-loss/

And while travelling I kinda let go and have fun. There is so much walking and sight seeing to during travels that I anyway stay just fine during travels. I end up bloating a lot but i think that too my body is getting used to it a bit since we travel quite often now. Hope that helps. πŸ™‚

There are only two rules- eat healthy and work out. You’d do fine. The point is to atleast do it. πŸ™‚

and lol!! that tee is big. My wardrobe is going insane with old clothes becoming oversized now so I have taken up the oversize clothes fashion quite seriously. πŸ˜›

heee heee food! Love San Churros – their churros are to die for!! This guppy place looks so cute! I really miss japanese food.

How was the book? I didnt get any reading done this weekend πŸ™
but it was a really fun weekend too – date night and a sunday swim with friends – perfect summer fun types!!

    • Rati says:

hawww why dint i notice that. I was time passing there before lunch so never bothered. It’s such a cute place. Their sign board says ‘chocolate does not discriminate’. πŸ˜€

I got around to doing so much other stuff that my book reading got on hold yet again. :((

I am dying to dive in the pool. you’d sound so much fun. :-*

      • janhavi says:

My favorite thing there is this thing called a hot and cold – its thick luscious hot chocolate with a scoop of sweet white chocolate ice cream – best pick me up ever! When I was in Aus – it used to be my happy weekend treat – in summers and winters πŸ˜€

yeah I love all their sayings on the board …

you should totes go swimming now – perfect weather πŸ˜€

  6. Abhilasha says:

Oh my the food looks yummm and you look great too…that clutch is so fun. There is so much food experimenting that happens in Delhi…Pune has only one Japanese rest.. n it so so super expensive…sigh!! dELHI πŸ™‚
And @Dasika’s comment is making me feel so jealous…u were in Pune in 2010…damn I wish I had known u then. Waitring for your next trip now..and she is right, you have changed so so much now, not just the weight loss…its something else..cant pin point!!
but yeah ur looking great here..

    • Rati says:

That clutch gave me a sleepless night when I saw it.I went and bought it the next day. loll!! I think everyone changes over a period of time. I am quite happy with mine if I may say so myself. ^_^ . Thank you. πŸ™‚

I really hope to meet you some day. :-*

  7. Ritika says:

The interiors of this place is so cute n you looking even cuter πŸ˜€
Even I wanna ask you the same question what Dasika asked.. You travel so much n regular outings too..how do you manage to be so fit.. I simply can’t stop myself from having a cheesy burger or sandwiches! N no outing is complete without a rich gooey chocolate cake πŸ˜€
N Rati I don’t hav a perfect figure, saw your comment on your last post.. I hav a huge belly n thunder thighs, I swear πŸ˜€ I look slim just in the pics n coz of tummy tucker.. Basically I have baby fat which doesn’t wanna come off!

    • Rati says:

haha!! you are too cute. πŸ˜€ Working out is the best thing one can do ritika. All the baby fat melts away. And well!! i kinda stay away from cheezy burgers. They don’t even catch my attention anymore. I’d rather toss a cheese sandwich with fresh veggies at home and let the cheese melt while my toast heats. yum! πŸ˜€ You see it’s the basic changes one can make. They help. πŸ™‚
