London Trip : Part 1

london trip imbb

Hi Everyone, 🙂
Sanjeev and I are traveling to London this time around. It’s my birthday today so this one is my birthday trip. 🙂 It’s just been two days here and we are abbbsooolutely in love with London. It is worth every bit of its hype. let me give you some of the details so far.
We travelled by British Airways. One of the worst flights we have travelled in. The air hostesses were rude. the space was very cramped up and the food was horrible. I am still struggling with the acidity the flight food gave me. 🙁

We are staying at the Four Seasons. And it is as gorgeous as it can get. I’d share some pics in my last post. Here is a little video of the room if you would like to see. 🙂

Although we are still dealing with a massive jet-lag but it’s okay. We used our jet-lag to our benefit yesterday by walking early morning on London streets and through their gorgeous parks! 🙂 Well, London early morning and London through day time are two different stories all together. 😛

On Day 1 we started a bit slow and mostly spent time with Sanjeev’s batchmate from IIT. Later we did a bit of shopping at Selfridges (shopping heaven). 😛 Yesterday we started early morning and a dill a long walk all the way to London Eye and Big ben. We still have a lot of see and explore but we are not in a hurry. We are going at our own pace and enjoying every bit of this gorgeousness this city has to offer. A lot of you gave sooo many suggestions on places to see here so it has made a bit easier for us this time around. Sanjeev and I were extremely busy this time and we could not plan much so this time we are actually travelling based on all your suggestions. So thank you. 🙂

Hope you enjoy the pics. And I will post verry veryy soon.Mwaaaahh!!

All the pictures are so beautiful. 😀 And you look gorgeous in every outfit. Love those floral Gucci. 🙂

British airways is just a Britain’s version of Indian Airways, with the same crappy services. Not even surprised with it. Hope you have a happy flight back home. 🙂

    • Rati says:

actually air india is one of the finest airlines that is out there. British airways turned out to be so sad it is unimaginable. I literally had to ask air hostess to behave herself. She was rude for no reason. I really hope we have a better flight home. This was just strange..anyway.

      Thanks a ton! 🙂

Aww such happy go lucky place and droolworthy clicks :hatsoff I totally loved your chic easy styling Rati!! 🙂 <3 Love love every bit of this post like always!! Even we also stopped considering BA for similar reasons as they seem unprofessional, pathetic insensitive at times especially with lone elderly and/or mom riders!
Never mind, this beautiful place and stunning view is worth those experiences.. 🙂
Wish you best in everything guys!!

    • Rati says:

neetu, i had a bad experience with them even while coming back. i could not believe it. 🙁 the air hostesses are horrible in british airways. ..

but we had a great trip. will share more pics soon! :)) thank you 🙂

  17. Rohma says:

Adidas superstars look so good on u?Looking forward to a post dedicated entirely in how to pair them up with different outfits.

    • Rati says:

i keep wearing them quite often. may be you could look for some style inspirations in my lookbook or fauxpas’ facebook page. 🙂 thanks 🙂

  18. Kat says:

Beautiful pictures! Amazing architecture. Belated happy birthday!!!
Sorry to hear about the travel experience with British Airways. You know what works in these situations ?
Note down the name of the air hostess and ask for a feedback form. Trust me, it always works.
They have a tough job but still it is not an excuse to be rude.

    • Rati says:

that’s a good tip kat. will keep that in mind the next time onwards. But what’s surprising is that I had the same bad experience during both the journeys. I mean there has got to be a problem with the system itself.

      thank you 🙂

  19. Nisha says:

B’lated Bday Wishes Rati. You had a blast on your day. Loved the close up pic of yours. That Make Up 🙂

  20. Divya says:

Happyyyyy birthday, Rati…. belated, though…… hope you have a fabulous year ahead… stay blessed and keep inspiring everyone. :-*

  21. aru says:

Heylo there..you look absolutely stunning. Wish you a very belated happy birthday. I absolutely absolutely love the nose ring which provides that interesting element of the ‘Indianess’ no matter what you wear. Yes London is so charming really. have loved it every time I have gone. if you et a chance visit the lesser known places like Leeds and Liverpool. Leeds has a lovely park called Roundhay Park and Liverpool is worth a visit if you like the Beatles. It is an out and out Beatles crazy town. 🙂

    • Rati says:

thank you aruna. 🙂 have to go back to london already and many other places around. would def keep your recos in mind. 🙂

      thanks a ton 🙂
