My 5 Favourite Amrapali Jewellery Pieces

Since I am just back from a wedding, I was unpacking my stuff. I noticed I have quite a collection of Amarapali pieces. I don’t know when my love for Amrapali grew so much. I have to say that it’s kinda addictive. It’s very rare that I go to Khan Market and don’t visit the store. 🙂 So anyway, here are the 5 pieces that I enjoy wearing a lot. 🙂

Ganesha Earrings : I picked these up for my Diwali outfit. I am a little obsessed with round earrings. Besides the shape, I loved the little details – pearl bunches, engraved stones and the beautiful Ganesha motif encased amidst all the details.

Earrings from the Ramleela Collection : There were two major things in the movie Ramleela – the outfits and the jewellery. These are the recent additions. Had to have a piece from there. 🙂

Maang-tika : I love maang-tikas. And something this big has its own charm. I am not someone with a big forehead. This pretty much  becomes the centre of attraction for my face. I love that about it. 🙂 Have worn it HERE

Manish Arora for Amrapali Leda Earrings : This collaboration of Amrapali I feel is the most exciting one. The kind of designs that Manish Arora has put forward, they will always stay both unique and classic. Love these! 🙂

Manish Arora for Amrapali Panther Ring : It’s huge and it’s always an amazing conversation starter. When I wear this, this is the only piece of jelwery I wear. 🙂

About my weekend, it was filled with movies and some fun. 🙂

So Friday I watched Hasee toh Phasee. The first half was boring but second half totally bound the movie together. I loved watching it overall. Siddharth and Parineeti make a magical pair. But Parineeti is beyond outstanding. She has become my favourite actress now. 🙂

We went to Amour in Hauz Khas. For me, it’s a little Goa in Delhi. The whole chilled out vibe, the terrace, loud music, the shacks – I enjoyed every bit of it. The ambiance made up for the okayish food. 🙂

On Saturday I watched Silver Linings Playbook. Must Watch! 🙂

So Sunday I watched R Rajkumar. It looked like a wannabe Dabang. But it was okay. 🙂

And late night I watched Jack Reacher. It was brilliant!

Koffee with Karan – Well people on Twitter had tough time getting over Anushka Sharma’s  lip job. I liked the episode. 🙂
