The Days that Went By…

Fabindia book shelf
The prettiest little anti gravity elephant I picked up from fabindia. It sits on my book shelf now.

The last few days have been the most exciting and maddening ones. My mom, mom-in-law, and my brother were here. Sanjeev and I were on our toes trying to make the best of the time. My mom did a lot of shopping for both herself and us. She was visiting us after a year so we were quite excited to show her newly-renovated areas in our home. It was pretty awesome to see her excitement to see all the changes. :)) She had her hearty talks with my mom-in-law after many years. And my brother just chilled out. 😛

Sanjeev and I basically took everyone around. 😀

After seeing off my mom and brother today, Mr. Husband and I went to watch ‘Gangs of Wasseypur.’ My ears were almost red listening to all the Hindi expletives 😛 but both of us loved it overall. Total respect for Anurag Kashyap and Manoj Bajpai.

After so much hustle bustle at our home in the past few days, it suddenly feels very vacant.  But I can only be grateful for being surrounded by people I love immensely. The memories and love that I accumulated in these past few days would keep me going for many days to come.

I also finished reading Shopaholic and Baby. I would say that after the first two novels, I enjoyed this one a lot. 🙂

Oh! if you enjoy having cocktails, do try out Big Chill’s Margarita. I tried it for the first time on Saturday. Boy! it was a perfect blend of tequila, lime juice, and cointreau. I am totally going to have it on my every visit now.

Wishing you all a great week ahead. 🙂 How has your weekend been?

Will miss mom's tea. But tea prepared by Mr Husband is something I look forward to every single day.
