The Neemrana property has a gorgeous old worldly charm. It was suggested to us by a friend. We had no clue what were were looking forward to. Our cottages were named Godavari and Kaveri. These two were the newly built cottages. There was a gorgeous balcony area attached to the cottage and right across the room you can see the ganga flowing, coupled with a beautiful view of the mountains. You can pick up roof cottages as well and you can enjoy the view from the top. They also have an option of luxury tents, which are even closer to the Ganges. But since it was a suuuper cold time to visit Rishikesh, we decided to stay in the cottages. Good decision and breathtakingly beautiful experience. 🙂
For rafting and trekking you have to go up the hill to Shivpuri. Our hotel arranged for our rafting trip.
The whole place is soo serene and calming, even if you are there for hours you’d feel so refreshed and at peace. I hadn’t felt such pure air and water since ages now. This was too beautiful an experience. Next time we’d probably do trekking and rock climbing as well. But all in all, Rishikesh is one place I can go back to again and again. 🙂
Here are some more pics from the trip. 🙂
and these are some pics Mr Husband clicked from the moving car. Super impressed. 😛
