The Shoe Dream :)

shoes ratiMy super creative Mr. Genius decided to shoot some of my shoes last night. πŸ˜› We dimmed the rest of the lights of the room and kept that top lamp on to add a bit of highlight to the photos. And that’s the result. πŸ˜€ How do you like it? πŸ™‚

Anyway, how is the week coming along for your guys. I am sort of relaxed.Β FebruaryΒ went a bit patchy for me and now that it is almost over, I am pretty happy. πŸ˜› We are already in the process of planning our next trip. Just finalizing the last details. I can’t wait to do my fashion posts. Yippieee!!! πŸ˜€

This week I am editing my wardrobe a bit and putting a hold on shopping for a while except a few investment pieces. There are so many things I haven’t experimented with as yet. So basically, I am going to shop from my wardrobe for a while. πŸ™‚

I am about to finish reading the book on Alexander McQueen. As the book is ending I am feeling a bit sad. You know sometimes you love some books so much that you don’t want them to end. But in this case the last chapter would talk about the ending of Lee McQueen himself. I don’t have the heart to read it. πŸ™

I watched ‘The Descendants’ finally. Loved it! πŸ™‚

All in all this week had been pretty smooth for me. I plan to dine at Olive Bar and KitchenΒ with friends sometime this week. I have been wanting to go there since a long time. Has anyone of you been there? Would love to have some recommendations. πŸ™‚

Anyway, have a great great week ahead everyone. :))

I am reading The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, I will pick the book on Alexander McQueen..what is it called?
I’ve been to Olive B&K..I have mixed feelings about that palce..the papery thin pizzas were delectable but the pasta was very average.. but I loved the Tiramisu and the Truffle cake was yummmm…

Sanjeev jis photography is amazing and so is your shoe collection πŸ™‚

    • Rati says:

yes planned another trip already. πŸ˜› I think I have read the guardian now. Cant seem to recall it atm. The book is called life and legacy- alexander mcqueen.

thanks πŸ™‚ ordered tiramisu. it was yum but want the authentic tiramisu. πŸ˜› average food lover all i say but loved the ambiance.also because we had a great company. πŸ˜€

  5. What superb creativity ! You must go to Olive Bar & kitchen, its one of the finest places in delhi when comes to the ambiance. Very soulfully done. Though I wont scale the food at 5 score.

    • Rati says:

  6. Surabhi says:

Aww.. totally loved the first pic. Thats indeed so creative and sounds spontaneous as you have mentioned it. Very well done. You must be so proud of him when he experiments with his camera and the results are mind blowing. I know how good it feels when we see our spouse doing things that he is passionate about. I have experienced this and it gives me the best of happiness.

We just heard this morning that we may get our transfer orders this month. I am happy to move to Delhi, closer home but also sad about leaving Andamans, It has been my home for more than 3 yrs. But however, waiting to see the orders πŸ˜€ and when I move there, I am going to re-read Faux pas again to know the best places to eat and hangout. I am already pumped up about visiting Big Chill.. πŸ˜€

    • Rati says:

yeah I agree. It does feel very proud. :))

nice pic and all those shoes are gorgeous. I absoloutely flipped for ther ed one in the left top corner. My week has been going on allright. been quite hectic but no complaints. sachin and me saw Silver Linings Playbook and loved it. Whacky, cute and Jennifer lawrence is adorable. she won the Oscar for it.

I am going to a disc/pub tomorrow with a big group of ppl from work to celebrate a recent event at work . Luckily I plan to take the day off tomorrow so will do all my parlour stuff during the day. My look tomorrow is simple- jeans, top with my wedges. If I am going to dance might as well be wearing something comfy.. Oh and btw I am going with a bunch of 20+ year olds..will be out of place but I have read somewhere that ‘Enthusiasm beats Excuses’ and thats exactly my motto tomorrow..:)

    • Ramya says:

Aru.. Have fun n am sure u’d rock. I’ve seen ur pics n u have a great sense of style.. Who cares abt 20 somethings? Age is just a number.. Isnt it. πŸ™‚

      • aru says:

Thanks Ramya. I am not going. very fuddy duddy of me but husband was home also so thought I’d do a dinner with him instead. All the time its been office and travel so finally some quality time at home.

about the age – sometimes I am conscious of it and sometimes i am not but either ways i do what i want and what i can πŸ™‚

Thanks for the compliment too. its a nice feeling to be appreciated. muuuahh

    • Rati says:

i really want to watch that movie aruna. wonder when will i watch it. With all the travel I have missed out on watching so many good movies. πŸ™

and you know you are one of the chicest person I have known. You dont even have to worry about the age thing, and as ramya said, age is just the number. *hugs*

and have a great dinner with your hubby. i love dinners with sanjeev. πŸ˜€ we went to olive’s last night with friends. had a ton of fun. will post about it. πŸ™‚

      • aru says:

love ya Rati and Ramya..you ladies made my day.(life rather :)).

I didnt know what to expect from the movie. All I knew was that Anupam was acting in it and Bradlee Cooper was also one of the stars so its one of those movies that just kinda surprises you. with my husband suggesting i thot ok one of those action thingies but let me indulge him types and it worked very well for me (wink :))..brownie points from him, nice movie, simple yet fun dinner in the mall..simple dinner at home too but turning out to be a nice evening.

tomorrow we r going to this place ‘Over The Moon’ which has opened recently. For those in Hyd its in the Daspalla Hotel in Madhapur and supposed to have a fabulous view. going with another couple. will comment on sunday on one of the posts on how it was.

        (sorry for the long post..:))
