Hiya Everyone, πŸ™‚

How is the week coming along for you guys? Mine has just been fantabulous. I have been coming to office all this week and waking up at 7 am everyday. I mean the high point of my day is dressing up in the morning. I just LOVE it! loll!! And then I get to meet some of IMBB people every morning. The room where Sanjeev takes the course is like the small IMBB world and I so look forward to be a part of it everyday. πŸ™‚

This is for the first time I am attending any of Sanjeev’s classes. I have to confess I am in love with him all over again. hihih. Sometimes when I see him talking with a marker in his hands, I get worried about him ruining his shirt. Oh dear! πŸ˜›

Yesterday we had a little discussion about dreams and each one of us shared our dreams. It was one brilliant session. When I think of myself today, I have been a dreamer all my life. And I am so thankful that slowly but surely all of them are coming true.

I have two big dreams :

  • I want to travel across the world with Sanjeev. Β And I want to travel like insane…today with Sanjeev, tomorrow as a family with my kids.Β
  • I want to do extremely good fashion. Fashion and makeup are something I live every single day. I just want to keep learning and keep moving forward with every passing day. They are my driving force. πŸ™‚

I want to know your dreams? Trust me once you write them down, you’d find the strength to make them come true. πŸ™‚

Oh! Delhi is receiving its monsoon now. And those who were making me super J about monsoon in their area last week.. Hmmphh! We have it now as well. πŸ˜›

Love you all!! Have a super duper weekend everyone. :))

True! living your own dream gives the best kind of happiness! Apparently I have started dreaming a lot in 2013 πŸ˜›
Any chance we will get to see some pictures of IMBB course-cum-meet anytime soon? Dying to see a happy group of makeup freak IMBBians πŸ™‚
On that note, I really miss those IMBB meets wali posts now. I guess there hasn’t been any major meet since 2010 (pls correct me if I am wrong). Never got a chance to participate in any meet that time as I myself was a shy newbie at IMBB. If possible, please try to chalk out a meet plan soon πŸ™‚

    • Rati says:

yeah ushma, we might click a pic tomorrow. :)) Actually these days I keep meeting people on an off on one to one basis.. no meet as such. And no we did have a meet a few months back. :))

      • Ushma says:

Woah…how did I miss that? I couldnt find it on IMBB πŸ™
Anyways would love to meet you when I come to Delhi. You, through IMBB n fauxpas, have been an inspiration! (especially for getting out in the wind and travelling a lot :p)

Travel is a big dream for me too.. Wanna explore places which I have only read about. And I wanna be able to make so much money that I can give my parents all the luxury in the world, never again should they have to look at the price tag before buying anything..
Maybe I got a little emotional here..

    • Rati says:

Ramya I dont think you should be scared.. they may be far fetched but if you feel strongly about them, they would come true. :)) And with a daughter like you I am sure your parents are super proud and blessed already. i am sure you’d be able to give them a very great life.

This is such a lovely post, Rati. You got me thinking.

    I have many dreams:
    * To have a home in a serene place, away from the mayhem..Probably, as a vacation home. Rustic interiors, wooden flooring, simple and peaceful. By the lakeside. My first home was by the lake. Then, I moved across continents to realize some other dreams.
    * Traveling is another dream. I have to say I have been lucky and that is coming true as well. At its own pace. Traveled to few countries . Enjoyed every bit of it. Still got to visit a lot of places. “Miles to go before I sleep..”
    The list goes on…:)

Glad to see that you are able to make your dreams true. Keep going πŸ™‚

  28. calicoaster says:

Lovely post Rati…and I have in a way or other seen a bit of how you have done so well so far in achieving your dreams…even though I saw it all online!! he he he….May you go much beyond and fulfill all your dreams and much more!! πŸ˜€ I’ve always dreamed of having a relaxed lifestyle and work more on my creative side..I’ve always been a lonely child without many friends, and most of my time was spent in doing paintings, playing piano, reading, writing poems and singing…I find peace doing that and I dream of continue doing all this, learn more of them, and I want to be able to earn too doing what I love…As of now, certain other things have taken higher priorities (my motherhood! :P), though I still try to find time and do one of the above things everyday…It gives so much peace and I feel rewarded from within… πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Bet it hasnt been easy , but u guys are so real in your approach. And when i say i dont have a so called dream, i wonder whether being so content is also good. Your first dream is mine as well….I love travelling with hubby and we have been to a few countries in the past couple of years …After kids I would love to travel as a family eventhough it might be a bit harder ….second is advancing my career and becoming a finance director one day πŸ™‚

  34. Sweta says:

Dreams are the driving force of life πŸ™‚
Like you even I love getting dressed in the morning (one of the best thing about having a day job πŸ˜› )

And my dreams, I have so many, some are clear some little hazy. But I am sure slowly I will make them all come true (already working towards some πŸ™‚ )

I always wanted to have my own house in a posh place (I bought one last year and paying EMI now πŸ˜› ) Next I want to decorate it like my dream home. I love travelling, till now due to my work I travelled in India and abroad, now want to do it more with my husband. I love being independent, financial independence means alot to me. I want to be financially strong and independent all my life ( after age of 22 I never took any money from my parents, What ever I have now is what I earned and it feels great πŸ™‚ ).
I also dream for kids who are well behaved like I was as a kid πŸ˜‰ and I get to feel proud of them same way as my parents feel for me (it is my greatest fear that I should never do somthing which makes my parents sad)
And my one more big dream is to take my Mom and Dad on a Europe trip πŸ™‚
I hope I will be able to make them all come true…

    • Rati says:
