The Happy Endings

nappa dori black belt

I watched Ek Main Aur Ek Tu yesterday. Sanjeev and I watched the first half in the hall when it was released but since we couldn’t bear it beyond the interval, we left it . It was airing on TV yesterday and I had to watch the full movie. Oh dear ! I was so disappointed in the end. I totally wanted Imran ( the cute-heart that he is ) and Kareena to have “and they live happily after” THE END *sniff* What’s wrong with Karan Johor? No doubt it was a flop. (Most :P) Humans are hopeless romantics at heart and we’ll give an A + to a movie only when it has a perfect (girl-meets-boy) ending. I mean when JK Rowing could change her original ending to give Happy Potter a happy ending, why couldn’t KJo do it? Β Okay! Enough drama. πŸ˜›

How do you like your romantic movies to end?

Fashion wise, there are days when I want to just throw theΒ separates together, keep my accessoriesΒ minimumΒ and just go out for a cup of coffee. And that’s how my look defines my mood today. Loose easy asymmetric shirt, comfy trousers and relaxed clogs. Happy Me! πŸ™‚

I’m so loving the relaxed look πŸ™‚ and the bug eyed glassses too..
and same pinch :L) thanks God, I finally have something that you have.. hehehehe

  2. Dayle says:

You look so lovely and chilled-out πŸ˜€
I hated the movie ! I think KJo tried to make it all unpredictable with the ending but honestly, I thought it was a badly written end, as if the ends of the story were just hurriedly tied together.

    • Rati says:

I agree Dayle. I was left asking for more in the end. Totally didn’t like the end. It wasn’t cool! Thanks. πŸ™‚

I sooo agree with you about ek main aur ek tu – when I saw the ending I was like WTF – it just left me with such a horrid feeling inside – you know like this is wrong –
but i do feel its unfair to blam kjo for it – the movie is directed by shakun batra and kjo only produced it and woh be more like he owns the company that produced it not like he was sooooper involved with the film – i mean its like blaming rupert murdoch for every bad show on star plus or subhash chandra for every shittty zee show no ?

    • Rati says:

awww okay j doo. No blaming to Kjo.. but really i was like whyy.. wait.. picture abhi baaki hai kinds. πŸ˜› My filmy friend would have said exactly the same what you said but we toh normal junta na. We only know the moti moti baat. πŸ˜› On other hand, I am really waiting for one good movie from Imran. I am sure he can do better than being just the next door boy .

      • Janhavi says:

I know that picture baaki hai kind of feeling _ i ran around dissing the movie to everyone because it just felt like such an emotional let down πŸ™ πŸ™

I think imraan can do better too but either he or producers dont want to take a risk by putting him in more meaty roles after the bomb that was kidnap – although he did do something considerably different in Luck (but that bombed too) πŸ™

        sucks – he is a hottie !

  6. Bhumika says:

  7. calicoaster says:

    • Rati says:

      Thanks bhumika. πŸ™‚

i too wanted to see the movie when it first came out but after hearing abt the ending at that time i thot i’d pass and watch it only when it came on TV but i missed it yday too :). am sure it will come again. bakwaas movies keep getting played over and over. i loooove happy endings no matter how bakwaas the movie has been..i saw ‘turning 30’ recently and found it so depressing in the beginning but it all worked out in the end and i loved purab kohli..just btw, for anyone who hasnt seen Shor in the City you must watch it..very cute film..

    • Rati says:

hihihi i agree aruna. These flop movies keep coming on tv again and again. πŸ˜› I also like purab kohli. he is great actor. Will watch the movies when they come on TV. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
