Apart from zillion other things that I love about India, one thing I love the most is that we have so many festivals. Sometimes I feel that every day of the year there must be some celebration going on in some part of our country. But the main festivals such as Diwali, Eid, Rakshabandhan, Guruparbs or Christmas somehow bring that sprit of festivity among everyone around. The markets are sprawling with people buying gifts for their loved ones.
The streets get decorated with gorgeous fairy lights. The sound of laughters surrounds the air. And the beaming smiles on everyones faces are something to vouch for.
We are fortunate to have reasons to celebrate something every few months. These special days bring families and friends together and share the happiness.
And that’s what Mr. Husband and I are looking forward to.
