Hello! Weekend

Little Black Dress

When you are entrepreneur, you actually don’t have a word called “weekend” in your dictionary. Sanjeev and I have been working from home for almost 6 years now. The good thing is that we can call any day of the week as weekend. And the bad thing is that that weekend sometimes takes weeks to come. It’s very rare that both of us are free on Saturdays and Sundays but when that opportunity comes, we celebrate the official weekend with the rest of the world. This Saturday matched our no schedules. So, the dinner date was planned. And I was delighted.:)

I wore my little black dress after ages today. The soaring temperature rarely gives you an opportunity to wear the deeper hues. My LBD was a sheer flowing and the dress was roomy . I could be dressy yet easy at the same time. Just threw on a pair of black flats , statement earrings and a cobalt bag. I was good to go.

I have been to Hyatt Sidewalk a couple of times before but a lot of people had recommended their La Piazza Restaurant. We ordered pizzas and white wines. I would say the food was just okay. The wine was good but the dessert (the oozing melted choc cake with coffee ice-cream) was sinful. 😛 I found the ambience a bit claustrophobic – dim lights and closely packed chairs. Imperial’s San Gimignano was class apart, any given day. Don’t think I am going back there. BUT I am going back to sit by the pool to read a book, and sip a few margaritas.

How is your weekend coming along ? 🙂
