My Muffins Adventures!

I am one lazy cook you’d ever know. I watch every single cooking show, dine at various places in the city but when it comes to cooking,I don’t enjoy it. Hundreds of master chefs couldn’t inspire me to try a single dish that I drool over watching various cooking shows. 😛 But Janhavi did. OMG! she is my most favourite bawarchi (apart from my mom) EVER. She post the most sinful recipes. Evil ! Very Evil!

My love affair with muffins goes back to my dating days. I remember I had coffee and muffin on my first date with Sanjeev. 😀 Always wanted to learn how to cook muffins but since I have a microwave and not an oven, I thought I had to wait until I purchased an oven. But then J doo gave me her best kept secret- you can cook muffins in microwave on a convection mode. Geeee!!!  She is so inspiring with her food posts that I just had to try out her muffins recipe. I tried today. 😀 and look perfectly, soft and moist muffins came out. *Sniffff *

Some funny things happened 😛

• Because of excessive cooking-shows-watching, I thought I had to mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl and wet in another. So I did. But the recipe requested to mix sugar(dry ingredient) with butter. My first dry mix went into the dustbin. 😛
• Then I forgot to buy the whisk. So I whisked everything with a fork. My arms are sore now. 😐
• Once I started my microwave, it started giving a burning smell. loll!! With a little examination by Mr Husband it started to work. *grinnnsss*
• The recipe said that the muffins would be ready in twenty minutes. But I poked in my nose on the microwave window every two minutes to check on them. *nosey me*
