London Town : Part 2

london outfit
Hi Everyone, πŸ™‚
Here is my next post from our recent trip to London. I am sorry I am taking so long to share the photos with you all. I have just been extremely busy of late but I hope this post will make up for it. I have one more to share but for now I hope you enjoy this bit. πŸ™‚
We spent some absolutely gorgeous days in London. The weather was so favourable to us. It did not rain even one day while we were there. And we had absolute gorgeous sunny days to explore the beautiful London town. We spent one day roaming around the city on foot. We started from the Westminster Abbey, took a swing in the London Eye and then walked all the way along the bank of Thames River to the Tower Bridge. If you are visiting London for the first time, I’d say that it is one of the most gorgeous ways to explore the place. Wear comfortable shoes for sure. And since we did it on a Sunday it was amazingly buzzing with both tourists and locals. You’d stop for an ice-cream yogurt or to catch up on some live shows, or to catch up on the artists playing live bands or just to grab a drink. It’s like a little festival going on.

We also used our jet-lag to our benefit and explored the quieter world of the crazy buzzing city that it becomes after 9 am. Apart from the shopping and exploring trips one of the char-mest things was spending time with Sanjeev’s batch-mate and his family. We went for a dinner at their place and got to see those little housing areas of London that you don’t get to see otherwise.

It wan an absolutely fantastical fantastic trip. I cannot wait to share more with you all in my next post very soon. If you want to know any specific details regarding a London trip, do let me know. I’d try to cover it for you all in my next post.

Enjoy the pics and loooads of love. See you all very soon! πŸ™‚ Continue reading

London Trip : Part 1

london trip imbb

Hi Everyone, πŸ™‚
Sanjeev and I are traveling to London this time around. It’s my birthday today so this one is my birthday trip. πŸ™‚ It’s just been two days here and we are abbbsooolutely in love with London. It is worth every bit of its hype. let me give you some of the details so far.
We travelled by British Airways. One of the worst flights we have travelled in. The air hostesses were rude. the space was very cramped up and the food was horrible. I am still struggling with the acidity the flight food gave me. πŸ™

We are staying at the Four Seasons. And it is as gorgeous as it can get. I’d share some pics in my last post. Here is a little video of the room if you would like to see. πŸ™‚

Although we are still dealing with a massive jet-lag but it’s okay. We used our jet-lag to our benefit yesterday by walking early morning on London streets and through their gorgeous parks! πŸ™‚ Well, London early morning and London through day time are two different stories all together. πŸ˜›

On Day 1 we started a bit slow and mostly spent time with Sanjeev’s batchmate from IIT. Later we did a bit of shopping at Selfridges (shopping heaven). πŸ˜› Yesterday we started early morning and a dill a long walk all the way to London Eye and Big ben. We still have a lot of see and explore but we are not in a hurry. We are going at our own pace and enjoying every bit of this gorgeousness this city has to offer. A lot of you gave sooo many suggestions on places to see here so it has made a bit easier for us this time around. Sanjeev and I were extremely busy this time and we could not plan much so this time we are actually travelling based on all your suggestions. So thank you. πŸ™‚

Hope you enjoy the pics. And I will post verry veryy soon.Mwaaaahh!! Continue reading

SOLO TRAVEL!!! I think the quote above just explains right about what solo travel is. People all over the world travel solo to find themselves, to discover what they are or to take a break from the busy life we all have, but for us in India, it is a very different concept. Our parents, especially when it comes to girls, tend to get worried to send us out on our own (because come on, β€œIndian parents always worry!”). But I think everyone should take at least one solo travel trip – it changes you! Continue reading
