Hi everyone, ๐Ÿ™‚ I had been so stressed out about my Diwali outfits. But since I have been been out hunting for stuff for myself I thought I’d share my inputs. It might help some of you with your Diwali shopping. And apart from weddings, Diwali is the best time to indulge and pick your best pieces. Every designer tries to put their best collection in stores during this time. ๐Ÿ™‚ The designers listed below are not in any particular order. ๐Ÿ™‚

1. Sabyasachi : Sabyasachi is a designer extraordinaire. The amount of variety he offers would blow your mind. There are sarees, lehengas, suits, lehenga sarees, western wear, jackets. The best part – every piece is different from other but still has that signature Sabyasachi feel to it. Where does this ton of creativity come from? ๐Ÿ™‚

2. Manish Malhotra : He is the king of Bollywood. If you are looking for beautiful bright colors, flowy net & georgette suits, ย he is the one to look for. Also, to look out for are his silk and velvet lehengas from his new collection. Think of those as investment pieces. ๐Ÿ˜€

3. Amrita Thakur : I swear I went to buy this outfit but by the time I reached, it was sold out. They got one for me again but then I had already decided on something else. She does stunning anarkalis and angrakhas as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

4. Ritu Kumar : No intro needed. She is legendary. If you are looking for intricate embroidery work, look no further. ย Best thing, they are available online as well. One of my friend swears by Ritu Kumar’s fittings. Her beautiful store in South Exe is a must visit.

5. Rohit Bal : Floor sweeping anarkalis presented in most luxe way. You have your answer. ๐Ÿ™‚ I loved the fittings as well.

6. Anita Dongre: One of the most creative designer and business woman you’d come across. Her designs are bridal dream come true. Her recent Jaipur Bride collection celebrates that rich Rajasthani culture. Beautiful colors and of course beautiful silouhettes. Wear it for bridal or wear it for Diwali, you cannot go wrong! ๐Ÿ™‚ She also has a jewellery collection at her stores. My outfit andย THESE earrings were from Anita Dongre only.

7. Neeta Lulla : Neeta Lulla needs no introduction again. She has won national awards for her costumes. I could not find her collections in Delhi. Guess they are focusing on Mumbai at the moment. If you are in Mumbai, you should totally check it out. For me, visiting her Mumbai store is high on the list. ๐Ÿ™‚ Love this piece from her Kanjeevaram collection.

8. Nikasha : With Nikasha I feel you can have atleast one outfit from her collection. He does the pretttieeessstt color and how? She pays fine attention to details in terms of fit, and structure. Her outfits are a real stunner. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s me wearing one from her collection last year.

9. Nidhi Tholia : I could not find any online info on Nidhi Tholia’s collection. But you go to Ogaan and you’d find the most gorgeous spread of her collection there.

10. Anamika Khanna: Anamika Khanna stands for the most unique and modern styles for Indian silhouettes. Her embroidery is par excellence. The only problem is that her collection is not very well distributed across the stores.
