Walk Beside Me! :)

Hi Everyone, πŸ™‚
How are you guys doing? It’s getting quite rainy and cold here in Paris. The greyer Paris is getting, the more colorful my makeup and clothes are getting. I am having a bit of fun in adding the contrast. πŸ˜€

I wore this oversized vintage cape on a rather sunny day a few days back. It is massive and you could get lost in it. I loved it the moment I saw it at a vintage boutiqueΒ here. There is a little scarf attached to it and there is a faux leather piping all around it. The color red reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood. πŸ˜› I quite enjoy wearing it. πŸ™‚ I have found quite a few cute little boutiques here this time around. There are also little Sunday Markets that happen here. You could pick up small trinkets, souvenirs, fresh veggies / fruits, chocolates, bags etc. from there. I guess the idea of slow travel is amazing. You tend to notice things that you miss when you are in a hurry to visit all the hot spots of the city. But I think the real essence of city is hidden in the most unexpected places. Of course you HAVE to see the best of the best of every place. But IΒ think a few days should be reserved just for you and your loved ones where you spend time with them just sitting at some cafe, enjoying a cup of coffee and talking about things that matter …or may be not. πŸ™‚

Got a bit philosophical right? Catch up with you all soon. πŸ™‚ How are your preps for Diwali going on? Tell me all about it. πŸ™‚ Loooads of love! mwaaahh!Β

The title of your posts – one thing I have always loved so much about Faux Pas. They say a lot about your emotions and help the readers connect better. πŸ™‚ I love the cape. It looks so cosy and comfy. And ya, little red riding hood did come to my mind when I saw the first pic. πŸ˜€

    • Rati says:

Wow I loved this cape for its color the fitting and you above all <3 Not to forget you sported it with absoulte elegance chic feel and diva touch must say. Like always I felt glued to screen admiring the cape the poses and your beautiful aura.. πŸ™‚ I love when you talk philosophy and often relate to you what you try to convey through lil interactions :hugs You won't believe your saying "A time wasted enjoying was not a waste" made my day that day as I said it loud to myself in times when we really feel we did nothing worthy in a day but as they say a time spent in beautiful arms of a daughter or loving family sitting idle sumtimes makes most than working in office. Though we always go over board so have to check on it but other then that my feeling resonate with what you described above.. πŸ™‚ <3 Wish you wonderful times in paris and keep glowing enjoying life to fullest sharing pics with all of us πŸ™‚
