Chokhi Dhani Village Resort, Jaipur

I have a few posts lined up from our Jaipur Trip. This one is the first of the lot. We went to Chokhi Dhani , Jaipur, for the 2nd time. It is a 5 Star Village Resort. There are 3 kind of rooms available in the resort- Cottage, Royal Cottage and Haveli Suite. The first time we stayed in a cottage suite, which had a beautiful little terrace a few steps down from the room. This time we stayed in a Haveli Suite, which is the grandest of the lot. The room was set up in a lovely Haveli kind of setting. The room had those old style heavy wooden doors, pretty jarokhas and a stunning 4 poster bed. Definitely worth a stay.

If you are staying at Chokhi Dhani, a few things you have to try. A drink at Chandi Bar. Evening snacks at the Kesar Kyari. A long walk in the luscious lawns of the resort. Chokhi Dhani Village Festival. A ride on a camel or an elephant. The puppet show. Spare a few moments to watch the local dance. And most important, don’t miss the low setting full on Rajasthani Feast.

Sharing some of the stunning clicks clicked by Mr Husband of the place. :)

Hi dear rati… Thanx fo lovely info n beautiful pics.. Plz can u advise how much it cost to u if u don’t mind n hw waz yr experience about food facilities .. N if u reach Jaipur wht v have to say to go to ths particular place where u stayed thanx

    • Rati says:

The food was really good both at the restaurant and at the village fair. You may ask the hotel to give you a pick up from airport or railway station. They charge you for it but since the place is located in the outskirts of the city, it’s best that someone comes to pick you up. You may check out the rates HERE : http://www.chokhidhani.com/home.html

      Try negotiating. Good luck! :)
