Rome : Day 2

Hi Everyone, 🙂

Here’s the travelogue for our Day 2 in Rome. It was avery chilled out day. We spent our time walking around in Rome, soaking up the beauty of the place and wondering about how they actually built it. We stopped to make a wish at the Trevi Fountain, share some smiles with the artists around and get our dose of gelato. In the evening we went to check out the beautiful Trastavere summer flea market at the banks of a river. While returning, we got to see the beautiful wedding photography happening at the Piazza de Venizia. We got so happy seeing them that we went ahead and congratulated them.:)) The evening was spent sipping wine, having conversations and enjoying the lazy evening.

I hope you enjoy going through the pics.:) We have reached Naples now but more on that later.

Trevi is being renovated by none other than Fendi. I went to Italy in April. You should have stayed a day more and gone to Villa Borghese, the gardens are amazing, true masterpieces by Bernini in the gallery(the guy who made the statues on top of St Peter’s at Vatican.
Rome needs a month long vacation, hope to do that sometime. 🙂

    • Aditi says:

Also an imp thing to add, the thing built by Marcus Agrippa is Pantheon- the most imp and famous symbol of the Roman Empire, the first dome in the world. (I am an architect, so could’nt resist writing.) 🙂
Hope you have a super duper fun trip.
