I finished reading Confessions of a Shopaholic today. I am supposed to be a slow reader but this book was something I can finish in just two sittings. 
This morning I calculated I would take at least a day or two more to finish the whole book. So I ordered the next books in the series from Flipkart. I totally did not want to wait for the next book in the series, and I thought I would receive the next book by the time I finish the current book, which would be two days later. And guess what? I finished the book this afternoon itself. 
This meant I had to wait for two days for the next book to arrive. I had to cancel my order at Flipkart. Eeeksss! Called Flipkart. The guy asked me the reason for canceling the order. I almost giggled awkwardly and said,” You know this book is of a series and I finished reading it. I don’t think I’d have the patience to wait for two days for the next books in the series to arrive.” I could almost feel him grinning from the other side of the phone. Without any fuss they cancelled my order. (God! I love them. How could they be so calm, patient and sweet at the same time?)
Ta Da!
I went to office this evening to celebrate a colleague’s birthday. From there I tip toed to a nearby book shop with Mr Husband; picked up the entire series. Even asked the book seller for a discount, since “Flipkart” always gives discounts so he should give some too. Came back home. Started reading the Shopaholic Abroad. I am a Happy Bunny.

I loved the Undomestic Goddess!!! That was my first Kinsella book ever, and that’s what made me read more of her writing. Twenties Girl is also pretty nice. I loved Sadie in it

I am a BIG Fan of the shopoholic series. In fact I have books as well as ebooks. I must have read each book at least 5-6 times. I so love Becky and more than that I can relate to her in many ways…LOL… Its a must read. I am awaiting her new book.. I hope it releases sooooon

I have all the books including Mini Shopaholic. I agree its quite addictive. I am a pretty fast reader myself n I sat down to read the first Shopaholic book n was done after 3 hrs! 
After this series, u HAVE to read The Undomestic Goddess and Remember Me by the same author. Love them myself!!

hehe I hav all of these!!!!! Actually Eddie picks them up for me coz he knws how crazy i m abt Sophie Kinsella!!! Ratii one more suggestion..u hav to read “The Zoya factor” i dnt rember the authors name…i read there is a movie also being made on it now…but its a fun book…its abt a gal named Zoya who is lucky fo the Indian cricket team..if she has brkfast with the team b4 the match..India wins!!… though i m not a sports fan at all….the book is hilarious…they hav even spoofed Irfan Pathan and Dhoni in it!!!!!

Zoya factor is by Anuja Chauhan – she is one of the best chick lit writers from India. Farhoooooo I loved that book too. Have u read Battle for Bittora ? Its her second book and just as fab !

actually the movie was made by merging the first two books and changing the story A LOT as a result…there was a second movie too…didnt see that…u can say they are loosely based on the books…but the books are more fun
