A Photo Tour Janpath Market, New Delhi

Most of you must have heard about the Janpath Market in Delhi. I thought I’d take you guys on a short photo trip today. 🙂

Janpath market is fantasy land especially for tourists, students and bargain hunters. I am especially fond of handicrafts and jewellery available there. Although there is huge variety of hand bags, shoes, clothes etc also available but I am not huge fan of the quality being offered. But if you are on budget and looking for variety of options available in handicrafts, fashion jewelry, kurtis, stoles, bags (jholas especially), cute shoes, night dresses, funky tees, belts etc. Janpath is THE place to visit. Don’t EVER forget to bargain. 😛

The best thing is that it is superbly well located in Connaught Place, New Delhi. It is not a huge market but the place houses lots of small shops . And when you get tired, there are lots of food joints and hotels located nearby. You can go grab a bite and come back again to the ongoing shopping festival. 🙂 If you are visiting Delhi, don’t go back without visiting Janpath. You can pick up some lovely gifts for your family and friends back home. 🙂
