Hi Everyone, ๐
Sanjeev and I are travelling through Australia this time around. It’s been a while we have gone on a trip so this was a much-awaited one. The beginning ofย April was real tough on me so I did not start this trip on the most exciting note. I barely shopped or planned anything this time around. But you take things one step at a time, move forward and hope for the best. ๐ So here I am in Australia living a dream life and being grateful for everything that was and is in store for me. ๐
We are staying in Langham Hotel Melbourne. They have given us a gorgeous riverside room. I wake up looking at the beautiful skies, a stunning river flowing underneath and breathtaking skyscrapers. This hotel is totally on our recommendation list.
We have been here for 4 days now and have done some of the most exciting things so far. Sharing the first part of Melbourne, Australia with you all. I’d be sharing Part 2 with must do things in Melbourne in my next post.
The first day we went to Eureka Sky Deck, the tallest building in Melbourne, where you get to see the stunning views of Melbourne from the 88th Floor. Plus there is a sliding glass box, called ‘the edge’, that takes you out of the building with nothing but glass below your feet and the ground 280 meters below. You need a tiger heart to do that. ๐ The scariest and most exciting thing I have done so far.
Then some people connected me through instagram to meet up. I really did not know we had IMBB readers in Australia too. So I contacted everyone on a short note. Only Mehek and Aarthi could make it. I could meet them only for an hour but it was such a pleasure. I would have never thought that my little IMBB would take me this global. ๐
Then Sanjeev and I left for Phillip Island to watch the penguin Parade. This was something. Imagine hundreds of tiny little penguins running around cutely in front of you. I mean you’d die of their cuteness. I can’t even… ๐
The next day we started early for a balloon ride to Yarra Valley. We also had to do a winery tour and a zoo visit. But we rather skipped it and came back to the city. We spent time roaming around and shopping. It was such a gorgeous sunny day.
Btw it is slightly cold here in April. You should have light cardigan or jacket handy with you always. Hope you enjoy the pics. I’d share all the details of the trips we booked, how you can plan and more exciting-insane things we have done inย Melbourne so far. It is suuuuuch a beautiful place. I am more than ecstatic to see what’s more Austrlia has to offer to us during this trip. ๐
Looooodsss of love and hugs! :))ย
