Rajesh Pratap Singh ‘Nimbu Paani’ Saree

Hi Everyone, 🙂

Sanjeev and I are on a short visit to Jabalpur, MP for a family wedding. It was a very low key wedding with only close knit family members and friends. I personally love such weddings because I feel in small weddings you are able to spend so much quality time with your loved ones. We would be going back with so much love and memories from this trip. 🙂

It was a two day affair. The first evening was a small home function with only family members being a part of it. I wore a check traditional Kerala saree with some kundan jewellery and my mangalsutra. My best friend is married to a Mallu so she gifted me this white and gold saree. I was dying to wear it. Was so happy that I finally did. I love the checks. It is very traditional but unconventional from the regular sarees. Some people like it some don’t. 🙂

The second day was a mandir day wedding and reception. I wore this saree called Nimbu Paani. It is part of the chanderi sarees collection Rajesh Pratap Singh did for Ekaya. I fell in love with the colors used in the saree and the polka dots really sealed the deal for me. I wore it with very traditional gold beads jewellery (can’t recall the name for this type of jewellery. Would ask mom and update it. 😛 ). I made a low bun with this and put some embellishments and wore bangles to finish off the look. 🙂

Have a gooood day all of you. :-*
